Don Henrico is by the Donnerhall son Don Frederico who has made a tremendous impression with the quality of his progeny. Don Frederico has a very high breeding index and consistently passes on his great dressage talent and rideabilty. See information on Don Frederico under his section. Coupled with this outstanding Don Frederico/Donnerhall blood is the Hanoverian of the Year winner Lauries Crusador xx who makes top ranking progeny in series. His high breeding values for dressage, riding type and conformation indicate what an important sire Lauries Crusador is. Sons Londonderry and Longchamp both stand at Celle and Londonderry in particular has proven his value as a sire with numerous licensed stallions, and state premium mares and very high breeding values.
At his performance test Don Henrico gained 8.25 for temperament, 8.83 for trot, 8 for canter, 8.667 for rideability, 6.86 for free jumping, 6.5 for cross country, and 7.33 for technique. Don Henrico is a powerful moving chestnut who became Res Champion overall and second in the dressage phase. His performance and pedigree destine him to be a valuable sire at Celle. In early 2007 he received the award for the best stallion of his age class in Verden. He has 13 state premium mares, 26 auction horses.
