Dimaggio, sired by Bundeschampion and Grand Prix winner Don Primero, took fourth place at the 1999‘ Bundeschampionat, was World Champion of the five-year old dressage horses in Arnheim/NED in 2000 and, then, he was winning up to Inter I.
The Dimaggios have reached the upper house of dressage: In 2013 Half Moon Delphi was under Michael Eilberg member of the British EC bronze team in Herning/DEN. In addition, Headmore Delegate is also successful in international Grand Prixs. At the WC for young dressage horses, even three descendants of Dimaggio placed in front: Discovery OLD won the bronze medal, Duke of Britain placed fourth, Diamigo was on the sixth rank. Donna Diana placed sixth at the Bundeschampionat.
Dimaggio ranked fourth at the 1999′ Bundeschampionat, became World Champion of five-year old dressage horses in Arnheim/NED in 2000 and was then victorious up to Inter I. In 2002, he presented the British Warmblood Champion and the British Sport Horse Champion, both originating from his first crop in Great Britain. After his return Dimaggio made a perfect debut as sire. Right from his first crop in Germany, all three presented colts, which were as well sold for top prices as foals at elite auctions, have been licensed. In the meantime, the number of licensed sons has increased to 20, thereunder FS Demiral, who was finalist at the Bundeschampionat for young dressage horses and is now winning up to Inter I.
In 2012 the Dimaggio daughter Dimma became Westphalian Champion Mare in Münster-Handorf after winning the bronze medal at the German Elite Mare Championship in Lienen. Sophie trotted to her title of 1. Reserve Champion Mare in Rastede in 2010. The two-time record World Champion of young dressage horses Woodlander Farouche is as well out of a dam by Dimaggio. In 2006, a daughter of Dimaggio won the silver medal at the German Foal Championship in Lienen.
In the list of more than 100 sport-tested offspring sired by Dimaggio is also Darco, who was part of the EC gold winning four-in-hand team of Ysbrand Chardon/NED. Further offspring, such as the licensed FS Demirel/Jana Freund, as well the licensed auction price record Di Magic OLD/Bernadette Brune, are successful in dressage at advanced level.
The sire Don Primero was the 1980′ Bundeschampion and then highly successful in dressage at Grand Prix level under Karin Rehbein. With Dynamico and Devils bride he presented two Bundeschampions in 2003. His daughter Cherie won the WC for six-year old dressage horses and then the Nürnberg Burg Pokal.
The dam Winnipeg won the I-award in an in-hand class for the area Sottrum and produced Werther’s Echte (by Werther), who was successful up to advanced level dressage. The dam’s sire World Cup I operated as stallion performance test winner, two-time DLG Reserve Champion Stallion and Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1997.
In third generation the halfbred Lindberg (by Der Löwe xx) can be found.
