Dimaggio ranked fourth at the 1999′ Bundeschampionat, became World Champion of five-year old dressage horses in Arnheim/NED in 2000 and was then victorious up to Inter I. In 2002, he presented the British Warmblood Champion and the British Sport Horse Champion, both originating from his first crop in Great Britain. After his return Dimaggio made a perfect debut as sire. Right from his first crop in Germany, all three presented colts, which were as well sold for top prices as foals at elite auctions, have been licensed. In the meantime, the number of licensed sons has increased to 20, thereunder FS Demiral, who was finalist at the Bundeschampionat for young dressage horses and is now winning up to Inter I.
In 2012 the Dimaggio daughter Dimma became Westphalian Champion Mare in Münster-Handorf after winning the bronze medal at the German Elite Mare Championship in Lienen. Sophie trotted to her title of 1. Reserve Champion Mare in Rastede in 2010. The two-time record World Champion of young dressage horses Woodlander Farouche is as well out of a dam by Dimaggio. In 2006, a daughter of Dimaggio won the silver medal at the German Foal Championship in Lienen.
Among the 111 sport-tested offspring sired by Dimaggio 30 of them have current achievements in advanced (S) dressage classes. In the list are, among others, the licensed stallion FS Demirel/Jana Freud, the also licensed auction price record Di Magic OLD/Bernadette Brune, Diamigo OLD/Helen Langehanenberg, the multiple St. Georges winner CM’s Diabolito, but also Double Delight, who placed seventh in the German Championship for single turn out, as well as Darco, who was part of the EC gold winning four-in-hand team of Ysbrand Chardon/NED.
The sire Don Primero was the 1980′ Bundeschampion and then highly successful in dressage at Grand Prix level under Karin Rehbein. With Dynamico and Devils bride he presented two Bundeschampions in 2003. His daughter Cherie won the WC for six-year old dressage horses and then the Nürnberg Burg Trophy.
The dam Winnipeg won the I-award in an in-hand class for the area Sottrum and produced Werther’s Echte (by Werther), who was successful up to advanced level dressage. The dam’s sire World Cup I operated as stallion performance test winner, two-time DLG Reserve Champion Stallion and Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1997.
In third generation the halfbred Lindberg (by Der Löwe xx) can be found.
He has 16 licensed sons, 29 state premium mares and 40 auction horses.
