Dauphin, the black stallion by Donnerhall, descends from a very famous dressage stallion, who passes on his talent for dressage to his son. (Please see information about Donnerhall under Don Frederico, another son of Donnerhall.) Feiner Stern was by Freiherr, probably the most prominent son of the famous foundation sire Furioso 11. Feiner Stern gained very high scores at his performance test and in combination with a convincing first crop, as well as his impressive appearance and type and trot was awarded the title of main premium champion stallion in Oldenburg in 1987.
This elegant stallion Dauphin shows three excellent basic gaits, especially his walk is highly above average. He gained 8’s for character, temperament, willingness to perform and conformation, 7’s for trot and natural jumping ability, and 8’s for canter, walk and rideability. Here is a stallion with an exciting pedigree for dressage potential. He has 4 licensed sons, 29 state premium mares, and 28 auction horses.
