Landor S is a true champion with an immaculate exterior, three outstanding basic gaits and powerful jumping ability.  Landor S uniformly transmits his type, charisma and quality of motion to his progeny, who are moreover characterized by excellent rideability. In 1995 he was the winner of show jumper classes and best four-year-old of the Oldenburg stallion championship. In 1996 he won qualifications in series for the Federal Championship with scores up to 9.0.  The same year he was State champion of five-year old show jumpers in Rastede and 8th in the Federal Championship finals.

In 1997 he became Bundeschampion of six-year old show jumpers in Warendorf and was voted as Oldenburg Stallion of the Year at the Oldenburg stallion licensing. In 1998 he won his first advanced class start and in 1999 he had placements in many Grand Prix’, was state vice-champion and runner-up of Weser-Ems competition, won the Volvo Cup S in Elmlohe, and had three approved sons.

Though Landor S was himself a highly talented jumper, his greatest legacy is that of his offspring.  There are countless extremely talented horses from Landor S and he continues to prove that he produces champions.  He presented the champion mare “Lady Madonna” and two further Diamond Ring mares, as well as, two association premium mares and five foals at the elite auction in Vechta at an average price of DM 37.000, top lot DM 90,000. He furthermore presented the top foal at the Bavarian auction in Landshut and the third most expensive lot at the Verden elite auction.

By 2000 his foals were bringing top prices at well known auction centers. His first progeny have participated at the Federal Championship in Warendorf, and he presented the largest number of juvenile stallions at the approval in Oldenburg. He has moreover presented a number of state premium mares. Apart from all this, he has also had advanced show jumping successes. He has been recommended for the Hanoverian Show Jumper Program by the Hanoverian Association.

According to the WBFSH list of top sire of the world, Landor S was the highest ranked Oldenburg sire in 2010, 2011, and 2012.  More than 130 horses are successful in show jumping in Germany.  Landor S is an outstanding sire of amateur and international show jumpers and by 2018 he had produced 40 licensed sons and the notable Bundeschampion, Lauterbach.

His descendants have already won more than 1.73 Million Euros in Germany.

The internationally designed WBFSH list of the top sires in the world showed that Landor S is the best Oldenburger sire (2010, 2011 and 2012)!

More than 130 horses are successful in the big sport in Germany. There are many more worldwide. Blue Loyd and Cian O’Connor won the bronze medal at Olympic Games in London 2012. Leoville and Philipp Weishaupt won the Global Champions Tour at Monte Carlo. Nael Nassar won the $1Mil-Grand-Prix at Zoetis, New York with Lordan by Lordanos – Landor S (breeder: Gerd Sosath).

Landor S is an outstanding sire of amateur horse and international show jumpers. Lobster and Levante (Sören Pedersen), Leoville (Philipp Weishaupt), Lacapo (Alexander Hufenstuhl), Blue Loyd (Cian O’Connor), Lord G (Beezie Madden), Rabea (Holger Wulschner), Wandor van de Mispelaere (Samantha McIntosh), Generation (Mario Stevens), Kuan Yin (Julia Schönhuber) and Petula (Takashi Haase) are some of the horses which are very successful at international level.

They won international Grand Prix, were present at major championships and placed in World Cup competitions. Many offspring are also very successful with amateur riders and bring them championships in show jumping, dressage and eventing. The multiple talent of Landor S’ children was shown when Le Carré (Kai Rüder) became “Bundeschampion” of the 6-year-old eventing horses.

Landor S has produced more than 40 licensed sons so far. Twice the young stallion champion of OS was by Landor S,  his son Lauterbach became runner-up of the Oldenburger jumpers in 2004 and 2006.
His daughter Lady Heida was the 2002 German Champion Mare with emphasis on jumping.
