Label d’Amour’s sporting achievements are impressive across the board: In 2015, he won the qualification for the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old show jumpers in Rastede with a score of 8.8, but was unable to participate due to his Luxembourgish pigment. Furthermore, the dark-brown show jumping hopeful has almost 30 successes in show jumping horse competitions under Gilbert Böckmann and Heinrich Holtgers.
His sire, Landadel, is considered a pioneer stallion of modern show jumping horse breeding and began his career at our station. The successes of his offspring speak for themselves. Over 70 licensed sons and just as many state premium daughters, as well as lifetime earnings of his offspring of more than 4.5 million euros, are testament to Landadel’s outstanding performance as a sire. He has established himself as one of the best Landgraf I sons worldwide. His offspring include the internationally successful top horses Lucie with Lars Nieberg, Legurio with Richard Robinson/GBR, Little Gun with Denis Lynch/IRL, Lady Weingard with Markus Beerbaum and Jörne Sprehe, Lincolm L with Tjark Nagel, and Fein Cera with Peter Wylde/USA. Landzeus won team silver at the European Championships in Windsor, and Landgraf’s angel Blue Loyd won individual bronze at the Olympic Games in London.
Dam Sagesse d’Amour is a full sister of the internationally successful show jumping stallion Saint Amour, with whom Svante Johansson won the Grand Prix of Stockholm (prize money €250,000), among other trophies. Sagesse d’Amour is also a full sister of the international show jumping horses Sarah Bella (Salvatore Vacirca), Salut d’Amour (Jennifer Fogh Pedersen), Sine Qua Non (Frederik Knorren), and Scaglietta (Martina Wrede).
Granddam Carina, with Stakkato, produced the international show jumpers Shandor (Martin Schäufler) and Stacchiatto (Dimitrij Berestov). The dam line continues to carry the best show jumping blood from Hanoverian show jumping breeding with the stallions Calypso II, Graphit, and Gotthard. This family also produced the international show jumpers Charielle (Santiago Lambre), Pikeur Felice (Franz Josef Dahlmann), and Willibald’s Geniestreich (Heilfried Knotz), among others.
The dam’s sire, Stakkato, a record-breaking German Champion and two-time German Champion under his rider Eva Bitter, is considered an outstanding sire in show jumping breeding. With a breeding value of 165.98 percent, Stakkato is among the top 1 percent of German show jumping sires. The Celle State Stud has produced over 70 licensed sons and over 80 State Premium mares. His sons and daughters have also achieved impressive sporting success, with total winnings of over two million euros. His offspring include the internationally successful show jumpers Souvenir with Philipp Weishaupt, Satisfaction FRH with Marco Kutscher, and Ukato with Willem Greve/NED.
