Secret – an exceptional horse with an unprecedented breeding record!

2024: At the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, Secret had 15 participants, 10 of them in the six-year-old class. These included the reserve champion of the four-year-olds, the bronze medalist of the five-year-olds, and the reserve world champion of the six-year-old dressage horses . At the concurrently held German National Championships, another 25 of Secret’s offspring competed, including numerous finalists and the reserve champion of the four-year-old mares and geldings. , the number of licensed and approved sons has risen to 55, including numerous premium stallions and celebrated top-priced horses.

2023: German National Championships, Warendorf: Reserve Champion of the three-year-old stallions. In the final for three-year-old mares and geldings, Secret sired three more participants. He was represented five times in the final for five-year-old dressage horses. At the Hanoverian Championships in Verden, he sired both the Champion of five-year-old and the Champion of four-year-old riding horses. At the DSP Championships, he sired the Champion of three-year-old mares and geldings.
Three of his offspring qualified for the final of the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo.
In addition to numerous top auction results, Secret also sired the First Reserve Champion of the Westphalian Main Licensing , who fetched one of the highest prices at €300,000.

2022: Segantini, ridden by Jessica Lynn Thomas, becomes the German National Champion of four-year-old stallions . Secret also sires the Reserve German National Champion of four-year-old mares and geldings , the winner of the Verden State Championship for four-year-old stallions and four-year-old mares and geldings, as well as the Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg State Championship for four-year-old stallions.

2021: An exceptional record: Austrian Federal Champion, State Champion of three-year-old mares and geldings in Weilheim, State Champion of three-year-old mares and geldings in Verden, Performance Test Champion 2021, and a total of six horses that qualified directly for the Federal Championships in Warendorf.
Secret again produced numerous top-priced horses in 2021, including one at the Elite Auction in Verden for €305,000 and another at the Elite Auction in Vechta for €450,500. Secret also sired a premium stallion from the Oldenburg Stallion Days for €304,500, a premium stallion from the Westphalian Main Licensing for €151,000, and the champion stallion of the NRPS licensing.

2020: Federal Champion of six-year-old dressage horses in Warendorf. The canter left “absolutely nothing to be desired” and, thanks to its enormous uphill tendency with plenty of impulsion and “wonderful mechanics,” was awarded the highest score of 10.0. “Without a doubt, a truly, truly, truly, truly, truly fantastic dressage horse,” the judges confirmed.
Secret’s first crop of offspring entered the licensing arenas. An unprecedented 20 young stallions received the coveted licensing approval at various licensing venues throughout Germany . Four of his offspring were awarded premium stallions and were among the top-priced horses of their year.

2019: Vice World Champions in Ermelo . Secret and his rider Jessica Lynn Thomas delivered a spectacular first round in the qualifier for five-year-old dressage horses. They received an 8.8 for submission, a 9.5 for walk, a 9.7 for canter, a 9.8 for potential, and even a 9.9 for trot. This resulted in a total score of 9.54 points, securing them the victory.
In the final, despite further improvement, Secret was narrowly defeated by just 0.02 points. With 9.64 points, the pair won the silver medal for five-year-old dressage horses. The judge’s comment: “A fantastic horse! Always flowing, always light. It’s a pleasure to judge such a horse.”

2017: Reserve Bundeschampion of three-year-old stallions in Warendorf.
Winner of the 14-day performance test in Schlieckau, with a final score of 9.5. Individual scores included 9.5 for willingness to perform, 9.5 for trot, 10.0 for canter, and the highest possible score of 10.0 for rideability, both under the stud’s own rider and a guest rider.
No further words need be said about his sire, Sezuan, the celebrated triple World Champion of young dressage horses. Secret’s dam line, dam line 853 of Sudette, has produced numerous internationally successful performance horses. Thirty-eight other licensed stallions already originate from this dam line. His damsire is the well-remembered St. Moritz, who, during his unfortunately short time at Gestüt WM, sired a whole series of interesting offspring successful in sport and breeding.
The maternal pedigree is rounded out by the proven combination of the successful Celle state stud stallions Rotspon, Argentan, Woermann, and Lugano. Another flagship of this dam line is Lordwoods Dancing Diamond, the Bundeschampion of five-year-old dressage horses and World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses.
