There is hardly an event in the world where the offspring of Chacfly P do not enter their names in the winners’ lists – preferably in the youngster tours according to their age, such as Conjuring/Richard Vogel, Classic Fly VDH/Sanne Thijssen/NED, Chavanno PS/Philip Rüping, Challenge PS/Dominique Hendrickx/BEL, Chanel B/Josch Löhden, the former Deister champion Chacandro Fly PS/Antonio Maria Garofalo/ITA, the Hanoverian Champion Coreal B/Roman Duchac/CZE, the DSP Vice Champion Carlito/Martin Wißenbach, the Swedish Champion Carex/Nicole Holmén/SWE and the two World Championships finalists for young show jumpers Nayade D.S. and Chapeau as well as Tiger van ‘t Ruytershof. The latter is one of more than 20 licensed sons of Chacfly PS, who has just recommended himself with Harrie Smolders/NED in the junior jumping competition at the World Cup tournament in Mechelen/BEL and is also the father of our newcomer Time Out. Other licensed stallions are the Mecklenburg licensing winner Criss Cross, the second reserve champion in Westphalia, Chac Berry, the Hanoverian premium stallion and stallion market price highlight, Chaclight, the most expensive stallion of the Zangersheide licensing with a final bid of 205,000 euros, and Chaccafly CL, who became the stallion performance test winner in Sweden. In the Netherlands, Pretty Woman ES was highlighted as the champion mare at the KWPN Championships. The Chacfly daughter Chacira P won the DSP Free Jumping Championships (3y.o.). And Cannetta PS was the second top price of the F.O.S. Flyinge Open Sales with a final bid of 252,000 Euros and Checkmate AS with 18,500 Euros at the top price of the Elite Foal Jumping Auction in Denmark. Skovro’s Chasing Dreams was Champion foal in Denmark.
Chacfly PS collected victories and placings in the 1.45 meter show jumping competitions in Opglabbeek/BEL, Kronenberg/NED, Riesenbeck, Oldenburg, Ommen/NED and Lier/BEL under Eiken Sato/JPN, Laura Strehmel and currently Leonie Bussmann-Wöhle. Nationally, bronze was added at the Weser-Ems Championships.
Chacfly PS was an early high-flyer. He completed his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2016 with a record result of 9.49, where he received the maximum score of 10 in six individual criteria (including ability, manner and overall impression) and a 9.5 for rideability. He was then honoured in Verden with the coveted Staccato-Prize for Hanover. In Vechta, the Oldenburg Ib main premium was also added for the outstanding quality of his first foal crops. In 2016, Chacfly PS won bronze at the Hanoverian Championships (4y.o.) in Verden. He has won a series of competitions for young horses, twelve of them in the 2018 season alone under the saddle of Patrick Stühlmeyer. He won the Bundeschampionat qualification in Klein Roscharden with an 8.8. This was followed by the jump into the difficult course class.
The sire Chacco-Blue, himself third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and winner of the Grand Prix of Neumünster, was number one in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires for six years in a row from 2017, ranked second in 2023 and 24 and is now in third place. The elite stallion has Olympic Champion, European Championship individual silver and team bronze medallist and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic sixth Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, second in the Nations Cup Final Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL and EIC Up Too Jacco Blue, seventh in the World Cup final/Max Kühner/AUT. At almost all championships, Chacco-Blue produced the most offspring. Among his well over 100 licensed sons is the current jumping winner of the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf.
The dam Shentara is a half-sister to the licensed and internationally successful Quickcento (by Quicksilber), to Nintara (by Nintender), who was placed in Grand Prix, to other successful sport horses and to the mare Diacenta (by Diarado; 1.35 m jumper), who produced the two 1.50 metre show jumpers Diatender TW/Megan Brodway/GBR and Nindino PS (both by Nintender)/Isabel Coxe/USA. The Shentara daughter Cha Lady Fly PS (by Chacco-Blue)/Juan Manuel Luzardo/URU collected successes up to 1.45 m show jumping.
The dam’s sire Sir Shutterfly is the full brother of the multi-millionaire Shutterfly under Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. He is also the half-brother of the internationally successful show jumpers Let’s Fly/Rodrigo Pessoa/BRA and Remedi D/Marco Kutscher.
In the third generation, Dobel’s Cento is the Olympic team gold medallist in Sydney/AUS and team bronze winner in Athens/GRE, the European Championship team gold winner in Donaueschingen and team bronze medallist in Arnhem/NED as well as World Cup winner in Leipzig under Otto Becker.
Chacfly PS represents the Holstein line 5819. The stallions Casino, Charriol, Landioso, Le Coeur, Tiépolo and Zünftiger as well as the sport horses Comme Ci Comme Ca/Cora Ackermann-Ripke, Gittina/Otto Becker and Toi Toi Toi/Jürgen Kurz also come from this horse.
