Weltano is by Wolkenstein 11 by Weltmeyer. Wolkenstein 11 is a true son of his sire and was vice champion of the stallion licensing in 1992. He was champion riding horse in 1993 and winner of his performance test in 1993. He shows outstanding ability for dressage with an outstanding character. He is a tremendous improver in both rideability and conformation in his progeny.
Weltano is an athletic stallion with well shaped muscles. His big, calm eyes reflect his gentle temper. This stallion is distinguished by an excellent conformation and a high rideability. In 2001 Weltano became fifth at the Federal Championships of Young Riding Horses at Warendorf. This is a very interestingly bred youngster. He is by one of Weltmeyer’s most prominent sons, as mentioned, and renowned for passing on exceedingly good conformation and dressage ability, and out of a mare by Calypso 11, which will give to progeny the jumping genes represented by this famous bloodline. On top of this Weltano has the D line on the mare side which again has produced many successful show jumpers.
2007 was the first year this stallion has been given breeding value scores and we would like to point out his very high dressage value! He has 5 state premium mares, and 9 auction horses,
