Bred in the classic Hamstrup style, Lord Pezi Junior embodies a highly modern performance type with above-average, relaxed basic gaits and, as expected, excellent jumping ability. He was a premium stallion at the 2011 OS licensing and completed his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf with the expected highlights in his jumping ability. As a five-year-old, he was a placed finalist in the Bundeschampionat and quickly rose to the highest echelons of the sport: with Hartwig Rohde and most recently under Marco Kutscher, he achieved international successes up to four-star level , including at prominent show venues such as Nörten-Hardenberg, Donaueschingen, Verden, Rastede and Oldenburg as well as Drachten, Kronenberg and Wierden (NED). At the 2015 Oldenburg Stallion Days in Vechta, he was named VTV Jumping Stallion of the Year. His oldest offspring are remarkably successful in show jumping competitions for young horses. Landan (Ldb. Warendorf) and Leighton were the first sons to be licensed.

His sire , Lord Pezi, reached the finals of the German Show Jumping Championships in 2000 and 2001, successfully participated in the World Championship for Young Show Jumpers in Lanaken, Belgium, and achieved multiple placings in medium and advanced level show jumping competitions. The dam’s sire, Quattro B, a multi-sire Anglo-Norman from Hamstrup, is considered the founder of the modern-day line and has achieved success in advanced level show jumping at international level. Quattro B’s offspring have been found in all sport categories. The granddam, Aleska Z , is of particular importance; she produced four licensed sons in the top Hamstrup sires Cordalmé Z, Royal ZI and II, and Landrover, as well as Gilbert Böckmann’s long-time successful horse, Rolanda. Aleska Z became the foundation mare of the Böckmann breeding program. The Hanoverian dam line 226/Degengöttin or Kalunda, from which Lord Pezi Junior originates, also produced the well-known stallions Colani (PB Hann., Bay.), Caicos, Comfort and Gabbiano (PB Oldbg.).
