A cracking international show jumper.
Clinton II has talent and determination. This Holstein stallion has enormous scope and an incredibly positive attitude to work. He’s proved it with various riders in the saddle. In 2005 he was Holstein Reserve Champion ridden by Thomas Voss and he also won team silver at the Asian Games before continuing his international career with Mexican show jumper Ariana Azcarraga and Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst. He was among the leading prize winners at the Grand Prix classes in Mannheim, London, Munich, Dresden and Neustadt/Dosse.
His first offspring, one of which is international show jumper Caliano, are already competing in 1.50 m classes.
Clinton II’s sire, Carolus I, earned his laurels on the international show jumping circuit with a series of 1.50 m class wins. He consistently passes on his positive genes to his offspring, which is evident by their collective lifetime earnings of over EUR 1.42 million and the 132 of them which are successful advanced show jumping horses.
Carolus I’s sire, Capitol I, is one of the most consistent show jumping sires in the world and founder of a widely successful stallion dynasty. Maternal grandsire Calypso II’s genes are also prevalent in the offspring. Full brother Clinton I is also a successful international show jumper and their Holstein 4965 line has produced some excellent competition horses such as Zandor Z/Jos Lansink, Padua/Ralf Schneider and Poor Boy/Beat Mändli. Clinton II’s full sister, Hirtin, was a successful international show jumper under her competition name Chica Bay. She is also dam to the outstanding show jumping stallion Levisto, winner of the “Sires of the World” title in 2009.Clinton II’s pedigree combines excellent genes with international show jumping ability.
