 Springbank II VH was the Danish Champion Stallion and HLP winner (10 for rideability and perspective), won the Swedish Young Horse Championships three times in a row and the Danish Dressage Horse Championships twice and took fifth place at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as a five-year-old with an overall score of 9.18 (9.5 for canter and overall impression). In 2020, he won the qualifier for the Danish Dressage Horse Championships for six-year-olds by a landslide. However, just like the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, for which Springbank II VH was nominated, the final could not be held due to the coronavirus pandemic. Under his new owner Yara Reichert, he easily made the leap to advanced level at the age of seven and placed twelfth at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. This was followed in 2022 by his first victories and top placings in the international small tours of Hagen a.T.W., Stadl Paura/AUT and Samorin/SVK. In 2023, Springbank II VH placed seventh in the Louisdor Prize Final for young Grand Prix horses in Frankfurt.

In 2024, the pair took bronze in the final of the Derby Stars von Morgen series.

Among the licensed sons of Springbank II VH are the HLP reserve winner Åtoftens Springtime and our Sénégal de Fontaine. The daughter Atterupgaards Daimi was presented as a gold medal mare at the Danish Mare Show.

The sire, Skovens Rafael, successful up to Grand Prix dressage level, combining the Grand Prix stallions Romanov/Hans-Peter Minderhoud/NED, Don Schufro/Andreas Helgstrand/DEN and Zorro Z/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP in his pedigree, was Danish Elite Stallion, Dressage Stallion of the Year in Sweden in 2014 and 2015 and Dressage Stallion of the Year in Denmark in 2018. He started his career as Danish Premium Stallion. In 2009 and 2010, he finished seventh and fifth in the dressage horse world championship finals for five and six-year-olds. His offspring are often successful at Grand Prix level. Two of his sons have been licensed.

Three brothers of Springbank II VH received breeding approval: Oban VH (by Floricello), Winters Gold VH (by Grey Flanell) and Knockando VH (by Franklin). The full brother Springbank VH placed twice at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses: in 2015 with Jeanna Hogberg/SWE in the final of the five-year-old class and in 2017 under Andreas Helgstrand/DEN in the seven-year-old class. Successes up to Inter II have since followed. Half-sister Vive La Reinne II VH (by Revolution) placed in the final of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo/NED under Maria Naita Andersen/DEN. The half-sister Floricella VH (by Floricello) is the dam of the licensed Morricello VH (by Morricone), who was on the Swedish longlist for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.

The dam’s sire, De Niro, himself already successful in the Grand Prix class as an eight-year-old and winner of the Hamburg Dressage Derby under riding master Dolf-Dietram Keller, led the WBFSH ranking list of the best dressage sires worldwide for six years in a row. There was never a championship where his offspring, including Desperados FRH/Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, Dablino/Anabel Balkenhol, D’Agostino FRH/Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier, Delgado/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP, Voice/Edward Gal/NED, Deep Impact/Severo Jurado Lopez/ESP and Darco of De Niro ZS CH/Charlotte Lenherr/SUI, did not compete for medals.

More than 260 advanced (S) level horses registered in Germany alone collected over 3.4 million euros in prize money for their sire. With over 100 licensed sons, the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2008 had a lasting influence on breeding.

The granddam, Rakel VH, produced the licensed stallion Dalwhinnie (by De Niro), who was successful at Grand Prix level.The pedigree of Springbank II VH includes the sire legends Rohdiamant and Amiral, who also placed at Grand Prix level.
