Hohenzollern is a pitch black stallion of beautiful type and a very elegant mover. He was Bundeschampionate finalist in 2008 and one of the top stallions of his year. On the damline through Matcho AA he has been stamped with terrific type, and he is further influenced by the tremendous movement of Weltmeyer: therefore a sure bet of future success. He is obviously a true son of his father, Hochadel, who won a series of wins and high placings in tests for young riding horses and won the 2003 stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In 2004 he won the Hadeln Riding Horse Prize at the Dobrock Tournament and he is trained up to advanced class. Grandsire Hohenstein, was Premium stallion at his approval in Neumunster in 1993, in 1994 he was runner up in the performance test and in 1995 he won the Trakehner Championship in Cologne and then came third at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. He was awarded Elite Stallion status in 1999 and in 2002 was selected as Trakehner Stallion of the Year.
In 2009 Hohenzollern won riding horse ability competitions in a row. At the end of the season he already achieved successes at elementary level dressage horse ability competitions.
