Fabriano, by Wendulan, by Wendekreis. He was as convincing during his training and performance test as he was in the licensing. He was awarded high marks in the rideability section, demonstrating a pleasing and uncomplicated temperament as well as ability and excellent aptitude over the jump. He was winner of the 1990 Stallion Performance Test, scoring first in jumping and fourth in dressage.

Fabriano is a good looking, versatile stallion with a particularly good whither and croup. Fabriano has rhythmical and flowing movements with excellent engagement of the hindquarters, a very free shoulder, and an uncomplicated mind. His first daughters were shown at mare shows in 1994 and showed good types accompanied by very good movement and numerous have had winning successes. His first son got approval in Sachsen-Anhalt in 1994. He passes on his elasticity, good gaits, and a very good character.

He has 15 licensed sons, 120 state premium mares, 594 main stud book mares, 159 auction horses at Verden, and his son Forrest Gump was the top priced horse at Verden auction 1995. Fabriano is a great improver in conformation, in dressage ability and jumping. Also, people who do not have any sport ambition favour Fabriano progeny. All of them praise the pleasing and well-balanced character of their four-legged partners. Combined with a fantastic rideability, Fabriano offspring are reliable companions. Fabriano’s prepotency is legendary if bred to halfbred mares. Winning sum of progeny is Euro 772,159.00.
