Sire Donnerhall is probably the most influential stallion of his generation. The dark Oldenburg chestnut was two-time world championship winner, the 1994 German champion, 1997 European team champion, as well a individual bronze medal winner of the 1994 world championships and of the 1997 European championships. His foals are outstanding, making top prices at the elite auctions in Vechta and Verden. He has a long list of licensed stallions and state premium mares with Hanover alone and his dressage breeding value is extremely high based on his own performance and of his progeny, as well as based on his daughters and progeny going through inspections. His oldest approved son Don Primero was federal champion in 1990 and has won Grand Prix events and is the highest stallion on the dressage index. The dam, state premium mare Ramina was a reserve of the Hanoverian Association for the European mare championship in Brussels and is successfully competing in show jumping up to advanced class. Her sire Ramiro is generally considered to be the most influential sire of European Warmblood breeding. He was a successful international show jumper under Fritz Ligges for many years. He has produced a great number of top horses in production line style. The grandam, Pk Bubes Girl, was national champion mare in Verden in 1990. She represents one of the best mare bloodlines of Germany, namely the Holstein line 5421.

At his performance test Don Bosco gained 8’s for character and temperament and willingness to perform. He got 7’s for conformation and natural jumping ability. For free jumping he got 7.67 and 7.33 for rideability. He has an excellent trot and canter where he gained 8’s. Don Bosco has had high placements in conformation show classes and has won a number of show jumper competitions. He passes on his excellent movement and bouncy gaits to his progeny who are of modern style and type. His first crop of foals resulted in a number of state premium mares. He landed a sensational coup at the 2000 Hanoverian approval, where he presented two approved sons, including the champion stallion Don Crusador, who received outstanding critiques in the supra-regional hippological and sports press. Don Bosco is a very high improver in riding type and conformation. He has 4 licensed sons, 35 state premium mares and 75 auction horses.
