The 2014 Bundeschampion of the 5 yr. old dressage horses scoring a perfect 10 for trot and overall 9.2!

Belantis is an exceptional premium stallion whose immense career possibilities have been prophesized since his birth at the Brandenburg State Stud. He was the undisputed champion of the 2011 Brandenburg licensing with three outstanding gaits and enormous elasticity. This was convincingly confirmed in his 30 day test where he was also the champion. The test rider gave him a rideability score of 9.75 leading to the best overall dressage index of 158.

In later performances, Belantis showed, as usual, a great deal of cadence, activity in the hind leg, as well as an especially rhythmical and ground covering walk.  By a large margin, he won the 2012 Brandenburg State Championships in Prussendorf and went on to take part in the 2012 and 2013 German national championships for young horses, the Bundeschampionate, representing the Brandenburg State Stud. In 2013, he was 3rd in the qualifying round and 5th in the finals, and in 2014 he was the resounding champion of the 5 yr. old dressage horses. Under Beatrice Buchwald, he scored a perfect 10 for his trot, 9 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 9 for submission, and 9.5 for overall impression.

Belantis’ pedigree is also extremely interesting.  His sire, Benetton Dream was the 2007 Bundeschampion of the 3 yr. old stallions, and has, in the meantime, won many Grand Prix classes.  In 2013, he was sold to Sweden as an Olympic hopeful.

Belantis’ dam, St.Pr.St. Philharmonie (from the famous P family), is one of the most beautiful mares in the Brandenburg State Stud, and not only that, she also won many FEI level tests under Christian Flamm. Her sire, Expose, also a high achiever, is very interestingly bred. Philharmonie’s dam, Pirouette, produced the licensed Quaterback sons, Quadroneur I and II.

2013 was also Belantis’ year breeding wise. The approvals from the Oldenburg and Hanoverian societies have aroused new perspectives and are leading Belantis directly in to the league of the most frequently tested stallions of Neustadt. From his first small foal year in 2013, Belantis presented numerous premium foals and 8 champion foals including the 2nd reserve champion of the Brandenburg foal championships bred by Ulrich Schuette.

HLP 30 day test: Total 8.83, Dressage 9.38, Jumping 7.95
